Sales Engineer

iyzico is an innovative and fast-growing fintech company in Turkey. We provide a platform to let merchants easily accept online payments. We process millions of transactions per year and our products are utilized by thousands of merchants every day. As an Integration Engineer working closely with engineering, sales and integration team.


We’re looking for someone who has;

  • Ideally at least 1 programming language e.g. PHP / .NET / Java , HTML with CSS / JavaScript
  • At least 3 years of experience, with a strong technical generalist background
  • Comfort with code-level debugging (iyzico code and customer code)
  • An empathetic, collaborative, communicative, and consultative work style
  • Confidence and comfort with merchants
  • Great verbal and written communication abilities
  • Intellectual curiosity, and great problem solving skills
  • Comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how iyzico works, both from a product feature and API architecture perspective

Requirements

  • Support account management team and sales team in helping merchants understand what is technically possible with iyzico.
  • Understanding user and partners requirements and communicating how iyzico can solve business and technical challenges from high-level architecture to code implementation
  • Partner with iyzico’s Deployment and Account Management team in helping customers understand what is technically possible with iyzico
  • Create technical content (sample code, demos, etc.) to show customers how to use iyzico's practices
  • Help improve iyzico’s products, working with product teams to address customer feedback, or if necessary, getting your hands dirty and build solutions yourself
  • Serving as the primary, technical point of contact for our largest merchants’ and partners’ technical teams during early phase of the sales process until the initial monitoring of post-sales performance.
  • Be comfortable in working with internal stakeholders (product, risk&ops..) and external customers.
  • Be comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how iyzico works, both from a product feature and API architecture perspective
